Philippine Statistical Yearbook

Philippine Statistical Yearbook (PSY) is one of PSA's flagship publications which aim to be a reliable source of information for strategic planning; policy; program and project formulation; business and investment; decision making; research and feasibility studies; and news media articles and investigative stories.

It also presents the situationers on the country' social and economic development. It includes subject areas on population and housing; income and prices; environment and natural resources; industry; trade; tourism; vital, health and nutrition statistics; public order; safety and justice; and science and technology, among others. The final chapter provides statistics information comparing the economic and social standings of other countries.

PSY contains time series statistical data compiled from the results of censuses, surveys and other administrative and regulatory records of government agencies including publications produced by local and international organizations. Data is disaggregated in different aspects to meet the demands of data users from government, academe, private institutions and the public. Moreover, these data have been generated in accordance with the principles, standards, and classifications set by international recommendations and guidelines adapted to local conditions.
